R v M - Central Criminal Court
This murder was featured in”BBC’s Crime watch” which occurred on New Year’s Eve.
M was arrested and charged after the police investigated in excess of 350 suspects, following the victim being stabbed on New Year’s Eve. The police conducted extensive enquiries including door to door and opinions of forensic experts prior to charge. During the trial, following the revelation of a video, the crown conceded they had the wrong man and offered no evidence. Our client was acquitted of all charges after spending nearly one year in remand at a high security prison.

A horrendous and gruesome group attack, carrying weapons with gang membership on a youth and considered as one of the high- profile murder at East London. The victim received stab wounds on his chest and died instantly. They were all charged with murder, attempted murder and Sec 18 GBH. Our client, a youth was the only person acquitted of all charges out of all 6 convicted.

A man was murdered during a horrific scene of complete bedlam at Westfield Stratford shopping centre just weeks before the 2012 London Olympic games. Following the second trial, our client was acquitted of all the allegations despite a number of those on trial with him being convicted. Our client was a broker who sold diamonds to investors. After lengthy trial, our client was acquitted of all charges.

Operation Odegard
Represented the defendant who was alleged to belong to Organised Crime Group being charged with 7 others for Conspiracy to acquire, use or possess criminal property namely the proceeds of the sale of stolen and cloned vehicles. It was alleged the group were stealing high range vehicles over 3 years valued in excess of £1.5 million. It was a very sophisticated fraud as OCG steal the vehicles and approach the owners of similar vehicle for sale and then obtain the V5 details from them. They proceed to get the original V5 document for cloned vehicles from DVLA and then sell it on various platforms. After a lengthy trial, the jury were unable to reach a verdict and discharged our client despite a number of other defendants found guilty.
