This case is exceptional as compared to the generality of sexual abuse as the facts are particularly disturbing. Our client was acquitted of all charges following trial.

The defendant was charged with various counts of rape. After trial, the Jury were unable to reach a verdict for all counts but was found guilty for only one count. Our client received a lenient sentence.

The defendant was charged with multiple counts of rape and other offences. The victims were brought from abroad by international organised criminal group and forced them to work as prostitutes in brothels across London. The police used electric bugging device in the house where the victims were kept. The trial lasted for number of weeks due to evidence, large scale surveillance operations, third party disclosure etc. The total benefit calculated was in excess of £800,000.

The defendant was charged with several others accused of conspiring to traffic the victim into the UK for sexual exploitation. It was also alleged that the various high-class escort agencies were used for the purposes of prostitution. This case involved under cover police surveillance and extensive telephone and computer evidence.

Operation Rastelli

Represented the defendant who was charged with several others for conspiring to traffic women into the UK for the purposes of sexual exploitation and prostitution. The case involved multi agency co operation including Romanian police and extensive phone records and cell cite analysis.

R v MB – Woodgreen Crown Court

The defendant was charged with multiple counts of rape, attempted rape and assault by penetration. The prosecution sought to adduce evidence from a previous trial of a different victim where the defendant was acquitted of all offences.

R V RP and Others - Snaresbrook Crown Court

The defendant was charged with 16 counts of controlling prostitution, living of immoral earnings and other sexual offences. It was alleged he and his girlfriend bring girls from abroad and run a brothel in various boroughs of London and other counties. It was described by the police as the biggest of its kind in this country turning over at least one million pounds per year in 2003.

Represented one of the seven defendants charged with people trafficking. It was alleged that a number of individuals were trafficked into the UK for exploitation of slave labour including working as prostitutes. They were held captive until the entire amount of the smuggler’s fees were paid.

The defendant was charged with rape and administering substance to the victim in order to commit anal rape multiple times. The victim was known to the defendant. This case involved complex forensics and its admissibility.

The victims were brought from abroad and coerced into prostitution and pressured to work and to take drugs with clients. They deliberately isolated victims in the flat and all were aggressive and unpleasant in their behaviour towards her. They even advertised as escort agencies and supplied girls to high profile clients in film industry.
