You may be entitled to legal aid if you are on benefits or on low income for the following matters:

• ✔ You have disrepair issues at your property and there is a serious risk to your health. However, legal aid is not available if you wish to claim compensation for disrepair against your landlord.
• ✔ You are at risk of being homeless;
• ✔ You are about to lose your home due to mortgage arrears;
• ✔ You are about to lose your home due to rent arrears or anti-social behaviours;
• ✔ Illegal eviction.

If you are not eligible for legal aid, we also provide housing advice and representation on a fixed fee or on hourly rates.
