If you are charged or summoned with a criminal offence, it is strongly advisable to be represented by a Solicitor who will present your case in your best interests.
You may be entitled to free Legal Aid funding at Magistrates and Crown Court subject to means and an interest of justice criteria. Normally, if you pass the interest of justice test and are in receipt of passported state benefits or are under 18, you may qualify for free funding. In some cases, there are limits for eligibility on means depending on which court your case will be heard. At the Crown Court, you may have to pay a contribution towards the cost of your representation which will be decided by the Legal Aid Agency.
If you are not eligible for free funding or choose to pay us privately, we offer reasonable competitive rates and flexible funding packages including fixed fees for the entire case or hourly rates depending upon your needs and affordability. If you are paying for all of your defence costs and are subsequently found not guilty, you can apply to central funds and may recover some or all of the defence costs.
We are extremely competitive with our rates and realistic when estimating our costs. We provide high quality service for your value for money. We will inform you at the outset of the case and also update you as the case progresses if you pay us privately.
