Hasna is a Solicitor at SA Law Chambers Solicitors specialising in Family, Child Care and Criminal Law. She was qualified as a Solicitor in 2004 and worked with specialist law firms based in London before she joined SA Law Chambers Solicitors in June 2015.


Hasna has a breadth of experience in representing parents in complex cases of non-accidental injuries, sexual abuse, domestic abuse, mental health difficulties, chronic drug and alcohol abuse, disabilities, learning difficulties and deprivation of liberty (DOLS). Hasna is a Duty Solicitor since 2006 and has been representing own and duty clients at the Police Station and in the Magistrates Court. During this time, she has represented clients for offences ranging from murder to serious and violent offences. R v RP & Others – Central Criminal Court

The defendant was charged with murder and violent disorder along with 2 others who were members of a group that killed the victim by stabbing. The decisive evidence in this case was ID and cell site data linking near the scene. After an application to dismiss, the prosecution conceded and offered no evidence and our client was freed of all charges.


R v MA & Others – Central Criminal Court

The defendant was charged with murder along with others. The victim was shot in the head outside his home address and died. Hasna represented the defendant when there was a hung jury in the first trial. At the retrial, the Jury was discharged after the defendant gave evidence and a retrial was ordered.
