Ruwani Hewage
Ruwani is an experienced criminal defence advocate with a rapidly expanding practice. She has experience in arson, firearms, multi-handed robberies, facilitating illegal entry, dishonesty offences, sexual offences, drugs, and serious violence.
She has appeared before the Court of Appeal (Criminal Division) on a number of occasions and relishes the challenge and development opportunities that these appearances provide.
In addition to general crime Ruwani also undertakes Prison Law and Immigration and Asylum Law work.
Ruwani has a focused, professional approach and prides herself on delivering her arguments in a bold, positive way. She prides herself on going the extra mile for her clients and has an adaptable approach which ensures she is able to meet the needs of her different lay clients in every aspect of her practice.
