Robert Cashman
Robert joined SA LAW CHAMBERS Solicitors at its inception in April 2002 and is one of its Directors. He has over 20 years experience in the field of Criminal Law having started as a Criminal Clerk in a firm based in Bristol. He has a Honours degree in Law. He finished his training Contract in an East End Firm in 2000. He qualified as a Solicitor in January 2001 and become a Duty Solicitor in August 2002. He has extensive experience in representing Clients at Police Stations on Serious Criminal Matters having dealt with a wide variety of cases at all levels ranging from Murder to Terrorism. He has recently been involved in a number of high profile cases that have attracted Media attention.
He is also the Head of the Prison Law Department and a Criminal Law Supervisor. He holds the Certificate of Competency in Prison Law issued by the Institute of Prison Law which is accredited by the Solicitors Regulation Authority. He regularly undertakes advocacy at Parole Hearings and represents clients before the Independent Adjudicator etc.
